5 Apps Everyone Should Have

I am here today to tell you about a few apps that I have found to be incredibly useful and, in some cases, life changing. I hope you will take the time to try out these apps and see how they work for you.
1. Horizon
What it is:
The Horizon app is a social network for people who suffer from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or obsessive-compulsive disorder. It was created by a man named Brett Kelly who was once severely depressed and wanted an app that he could use to better connect with others who were going through similar experiences. I have personally found this app to be incredibly useful and have made some great friends on the app, as well as read about some wonderful success stories.
How it works:
- You set up a profile, which is completely anonymous, and you can then begin to follow other users and see what they have to say.
- You can make posts on your page, as well as comment and like posts that others have made.
- You can also send private messages and chat in the chatroom, which is located in the app.
- You can also use the app to connect with a therapist, which is probably the most valuable feature of the app to me.
- I have been working with a therapist for the past year on and off and it is so nice to be able to talk to my therapist whenever I feel like I need to.
2. Sleep Cycle Power Nap
What it is:
The Sleep Cycle app is a sleep cycle alarm clock, and it is by far the best app I have ever used to wake up.
I have always been a terrible sleeper, and waking up in the morning has been a nightmare for me. I would either toss and turn for hours trying to fall asleep, or I would wake up and be groggy because I had been oversleeping. This app is different. It uses your phone's microphone to determine when you are in the lightest sleep phase, and it will wake you up when you are in that phase of sleep. This app has completely revolutionized my ability to wake up in the morning. I no longer have to set more than one alarm and I am rarely ever late for anything anymore.
How it works:
The app uses your phone's microphone to determine when you are in a light phase of sleep. It then wakes you up at that time with the help of a gentle alarm. The alarm gradually increases in volume over a period of 30 minutes so you are never jerked out of a deep sleep. It also uses a gradual light to wake you up, as well.
3. PaperKarma
What it is:
PaperKarma is a website and an app that allows you to take a picture of a piece of junk mail that has been delivered to your door and then remove yourself from the mailing list.
The app is very simple to use and works very well. You simply take a picture of the paper that was delivered to your door, and the app will then scan the barcode on the back of the paper and pull up all of the information about that particular company. You can then choose to remove yourself from their mailing list.
How it works:
When you open the app, you are presented with a camera. You take a picture of the piece of junk mail and then the app will scan the barcode on the back of the paper. It will then pull up all of the information about that company. You can then choose to remove yourself from their mailing list.
4. Nu Skin TR90
What it is:
The Nu Skin TR90 is a personal trainer for your skin. It is a set of 4 LED light therapy devices that use blue, red, and infrared LED lights to target and heal specific areas of your face. The set includes the blue light device, the red light device, and the infrared light device. The blue light device is great for reducing inflammation, increasing circulation, and reducing the appearance of scars, stretch marks, and cellulite.
The red light device helps to reduce inflammation, heal acne, and improve the appearance of skin. The infrared light device helps to increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and improve the appearance of cellulite.
I have been using the Nu Skin TR90 for the past month and I love it. I have noticed a huge difference in my skin. I have very sensitive and acne prone skin, and this has helped me to finally find healing.
5. Sleep Talk Recorder
What it is:
The Sleep Talk Recorder is an app that records your sleep talking and then analyzes the recording to tell you what the most common words that you say during the night are.
The app does not use your microphone, so it does not attempt to wake you up or alert you in any way. It simply silently records your sleep talking and then presents you with a report in the morning. I have found this app to be incredibly interesting. I have never known what I say during the night and now I get to find out!
How it works:
The app is incredibly simple to use. You set it up, then set your phone on a nightstand, plug in your headphones, and then go to sleep. The app will then record everything that you say during the night.
When you wake up in the morning, it will ask if you would like to view a report. When you agree, the app will then present you with an audio report of everything that you said while you were sleeping, as well as the most common words that you said. You can then share this report with your friends on social media.
