New Patch for PC Version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Enhances Visuals and Stability
- 31 Jul, 2023
Insomniac Games, in collaboration with Nixxes, continues its commitment to delivering an exceptional gaming experience with its recent patch for the PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Announced today, version 1.728.0.0 has been unleashed, focusing on rectifying multiple bugs noted in the game, particularly visual ones pegged on the graphic textures and interact button prompts.
The issue associated with texture streaming, which was responsible for holding textures at a low resolution, has been effectively resolved. This particular fixation is earmarked to significantly contribute to the visual output, delivering a refreshingly immersive experience for gamers. The gaming realms are now expected to be adorned in their true, high-resolution splendor, post-patch installation.
Another important enhancement made is the correction of visual issues that formerly emerged with water reflections during ambient occlusion. This glitch, however, only appeared when the ambient occlusion setting was toggled to any option other than SSAO. This update ensures smoother and more realistic water reflection visuals irrespective of the ambient occlusion settings being used. This nuance brings the gaming environments closer to realism, enriching the overall gaming experience.
In addition, a persistent bug causing continued visibility of the interact button prompt on the screen has been addressed. Specific visual issues experienced at weapon previews when using ultra-wide resolutions have been fixed as well. This move elevates the overall ease and convenience of gaming navigation, furthering in-game engagement and immersion.
Lastly, this new version goes beyond visual fixes delving deeper into system stability. It provides various bug rectifications, stability enhancements, and optimizations, reinforcing seamless and uninterrupted gaming sessions. By addressing these concerns, Insomniac Games and Nixxes have reaffirmed their commitment to improving the player experience, maintaining Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart's position in the pantheon of premier PC gaming.
